I have no idea where to start so I guess I'll go in the order that the events happened. This weekend was super busy and fun all around.
Friday: Dinner and Halloween
On Friday night we went out to dinner with K&B. I went to Long Horn Steak house for the first time and it was super great. After dinner we got our toes wet in the waters of the Halloween season by going costume shopping. No one got anything but it was fun to look around and see what's out there this year. As always, it was mostly the same stuff as every other year but it was great to look around anyway.
Saturday: INVITATIONS!!!!!
On Satuday Meghan and I went to Wilmington to start putting together my invitations. We sat down with Lisa from Nicole Scott Weddings and began to create a customized wedding invitation. It was sooo much fun! We could choose everything from the colors to size, style, formality, wording, details, etc.
I can't wait to see how everything comes together in the end. Within the next couple of months I'll be able to get a lay out of what the invitation will look like. I'm sure there will be some adjustments to make here and there, but for the

Sunday: Raspberries, Apples, Pumpkins - Oh my!
On Sunday I went to Milburn Orchards with Bryan, Katy, Meghan and Ryan. It was SUCH a great time. We picked raspberries and apples. It was busy in the apples, but pretty dead at the raspberry picking. We had fun at both though. I want to try and make an apple pie this week and maybe a pumpkin pie - but I won't hold myself to it.After all the fruit picking we went over to their little country store. There we got to pick out our pumpkins for the year. I wanted to get one for all of us (buddy, zoey, me, ryan) but we only got two. I can't wait to carve them when it gets closer to Halloween - but we always have such a hard time picking out faces (perhaps I'll start thinking now).
Sunday Evening: A little movie time.
I have a couple of movies I want to see on a list. One of them being Good Luck Chuck. It was cute. Had funny parts and kept me laughing for sure.
In conclusion:
A great weekend as usual. Only more to come.
