Bridesmaids Dresses - and a BIG surprise!

Today I went with Michele and Barbie to order their bridesmaids dresses. It was originally supposed to be a HUGE event (my version of huge being much smaller then some other versions). It was supposed to be all the girls (minus Laura) going to get fitted, eat lunch and watch "27 Dresses". Well, it didn't quite work out. The movie doesn't come out until next week. Meghan had a wedding... and Laura lives in North Carolina. But that didn't stop us from having a great time.

When we first got there, Barbie (like the doll) and Michele (with one L) tried on a few dresses to see if there was anything they liked more. Honestly they didn't really have much to chose from. They said a lot of the dresses we were looking for were probably on order for this season - but that obviously wouldn't help us now. So instead of switching to the "everyone pick their own" we stuck with the orignal dress. Either way would have made me just as happy so it was "nice" basically having our mind made up for us.

After trying on dresses the ladies got fitted. Apparently it was one of the most exciting fittins they've had. When we all come out of the fitting room, one of the ladies commented that she wished she could have been part of our party. Lots and lots of laughing. Anyway. On to the BIG news!

Around the time I arrived, one of the ladies who works in the boutique informed me that MY WEDDING DRESS HAD COME IN! She said they were going to call, but thought they'd surprise me when I got there! They probably should have called being I hadn't shaved in a couple days, but still... I was so excited! Needless to say, I HAD to try it on. I loved it just as much as the day I picked it out! I really can't wait to wear it FO' Real!

Afterwards, we all went to lunch at Ruby Tuesdays and parted ways. A very good time.
