This weekend was a fairly busy one (what's new?).
On Friday we went to Cheeseburger in Paradise with Kevin and Barbie. It was pretty good. I was getting really hungry by the time we got there, but for some reasonc ouldn't finish even 1/2 of my meal. But the drinks were delicious!
Saturday I went shopping. What an event. I went gown/dress shopping with my mom, Ryan's mom, Ryan's mom-mom and my mom-mom. I feel like I was being pulled in a million different directions as they all wanted my input on what I liked/didn't like on them. In the end, Ryan's mom chose a great fitting dress for herself, as did Ryan's mom-mom. Both looked great! My mom-mom however didn't quite decide on one. My poor mom was beyond frustrated trying to find a dress she liked/that liked her. She finally found one she was happy with and they wouldn't be able to get it in time :(
After shopping Ryan and I went to a B-day bash for Barbie at Casablanca. Anyone who knows me, knows I'm a terribly picky eatter - who was never forced to really try anything while growing up. Well, Casablanca did not cater to people such as myself! I had never been, so I didn't know what to expect. Basically they had pre-set meals and you have like 1 or 2 things you have to pick (like beef or lamb and spicy or mild). Then they start with this trail of 7 dishes I honestly can't even remember them all. It was pretty neat. However, I was hungry afterwards and made a pit stop at Mickey D's.
In addition, we've had a guest staying with us for the last few days. So, we promised Josh that we'd try to make it out to the bars after dinner. Well, we never got done eatting until 10:00 or 10:30, but went anyway. It was sooo packed on main street with drunk people spilling beer all over the place! But I'm glad we stopped, because Josh (in his drunken stupper) told us about 100 times how much it meant to him that we showed up. So sweet. After getting a drunk Ryan Creed and Josh safely back to their respective homes, it felt sooo good to go to bed.
Sunday was not as eventful. We finally finished up the tail ends of our wedding invitation surprise and should be ready to go with in the next couple of days!
Again - what a busy weekend!
