Oh my!

Where to begin?! It's been a crazy busy weekend. It's almost a releif to be back to work and on a schedule!

Friday night we went bowling with K and B and Phil. Besides Ryan getting in a bit of trouble with the law (apparently you can't pee behind dumpsters) it was a good night and fairly mellow.

Saturday I started early with a special trip to the mall. Meghan had invited me to Bath and Body Works beauty cravings day. It was interesting and really busy! We got free samples (and by samples I mean full sized bottles) of lotion and body wash. Then I went with Meghan for a fresh shape up (for those of you who aren't down with the jive, that's a hair cut). Next a trip to AC Moore for some misc. pieces and lunch with her and Ryan. Yummy.

Then I had to get myself together for my big fancy night at "The Cave" with the ladies from work. WHAT AN ADVENTURE!

First we all meet at the shop to get the limo (yes a limo in my honor). I had never been in one before. It was a night of firsts for me.

Then we go to dinner at a restaurant that required a bathroom attendant. Not being aware there would be one and not bringing my purse with me to the ladies room, I kinda felt like an ass. But dinner was pretty good and it was a nice segway into the rest of the evening (as I got molested by the owner - when she hugged me, my face fell into her bosum).

Next was our trip to The Cave. Apparently the cave is under construction for some remodeling, so the evening was moved to their "satelite" location in some shady area of Philadelphia. We pull up to this building called "dangerous curves" which is a female strip club. Then we are advised that we were pretty much in their basement to watch the men do their business. it was small and "intimate" I laughed the whole time. Meghan was there to document the adventure - pictures to follow! I was wearing the usual bride-to-be gear, so myself along with the other bachlorettes got PLENTY of attention. I felt so awkward as I was asked to get down on "all fours" and molested atleast twice in the "hot seat". What and interesting evening!

We never got home until at least 2:00am.

Sunday I needed a little sleep in time and then met the fancy wedding ladies for some shoe shopping. No one really seemed too sure about what they wanted, so we left it at them all agreeing on a similar-type of color and getting something they're comfortable with.

After a quick lunch, Meghan and I did some hard core wedding work. First we put together a good chunk of the centerpieces. They turned out so cute (IMO). Afterwards we went to the Brandywine Park to see the ceremony location. It was soooo pretty!!!! The trees are in bloom and it's amazing! I get the feeling that perhaps the trees won't be as pink and wonderful a month from now, but either way, it's going to look so nice!

Afterwards, we did a few more centerpieces, some grocery shopping, dinner with Meghan and Josh and then BED!

WHAT A BUSY WEEKEND!!!!

This week is not looking like it's going to be much slower. I might be hitting a Phillies game, in addition to my hair consultation for the wedding, getting my marriage license on Friday, then leaving for Pittsburgh for Billy Joel. Somewhere in there I'm going to have to start (and finish) my rehearsal dinner invitations!

I'm sure I'll blog all along the way.
