Hey Jude!

Today we went for our Ultrasound! It was SO neat! I hear stories of people who went and they start moving the thing around and they can't really tell what they're looking at. However, right when they put it on my stomach I saw the little profile of our baby!

She wiggled the wand around a little and BAM right in front of our face was his little pee-pee! Had we not wanted to know the sex of the baby, we would have been blind if we didn't figure it out on our own.

As she moved through the rest of the body we saw everything so clearly. His five fingers on each hand, little toes, beating heart, leg and arm bones and much more. She measured all of his parts and said that we are on target for our due date. We are right at 18 weeks exactly today and he was measuring 18 weeks and 3 days and weighed as estimated 8 oz (our little 1/2 pound baby). She said even though he's measuring a little ahead of schedule they won't adjust the due date unless he's about 15 days a head so 4/29/09 still sticks.

She said he was laying perfectly so that she could get all the measurments she needed quickly which allowed us a little time to get a bunch of fun photos to show everyone.

It really was amazing the second she put the wand on my stomach you could see the little baby! He was wiggling all over the place. Ryan joking said that he obviously will be rammy little kid like himself.
