All in all, we had a GREAT time in Disney! We hit every ride we wanted to and got through most of the parks rather quickly. It was not super crowded the week we were there and the weather was AMAZING! We couldn't have picked a better time to go!!
First of all, we got "happy anniversary" pins to wear for our time in Disney. Meghan mentioned to the lady at the ticket counter that this trip was a gift for Ryan and I for our wedding. We told her we were married in May (therefore closer to an anniversary than "Just Married") and so we were given the option to wear either anniversary or just married pins. Being that I was obviously pregnant, I thought the most un-confusing option would be "happy anniversary". Other than being greeted by every employee saying "happy anniversary" the biggest perk for the pin was that we got buy one get one free ice cream!
Here's Ryan in the Gooofy hat he loved but refused to buy:
On our first night in florida we went to Downtown Disney. I LOVED the lego store! They had an entire wall of lego people which was super cool in my opinion:
Our first full day in Florida we went to Magic Kingdom. We of course spent time in front of the castle, riding all the rides, watching the parade and the fire works show at the end of the night.
We of course saw LOTS of the characters and managed to get our picture with a few of them including mickey, the simpsons, donald duck, goofy, and many others.
Through our trip we hit each of the Disney parks: Hollywood Studios (see below), Animal Kingdom, Epcot and of course we found our way to Universal Studios.
Many of the parks had changed quite a bit since Ryan and I had gone when we were much younger. Ryan was very hopeful he's still get to see the Delorian and he was lucky enough to find it was still there (the ride was gone, so he wasn't sure if it would be gone too). He doesn't pose for too many pictures without a little force, but there was no problem getting him in front of the car (and he even "touched the same door handle as Michael J Fox)
There's just not enough to say about the trip. We really had a great time! I kept thinking how fun it would be to eventually take our kids in the future.
