My Monday Off

What a great day to be off work! It's rainy crappy weather and I had no where I HAD to be. This morning I woke up earlier than I expected to and didn't really have much to do. I fiddled around online, read a little, watched some TV and was guilt-ed into lunch. While out to lunch I ran to Best Buy with brother Bryan to look at cameras. Before heading back home I swung in to pick up dry cleaning and then was able to relax on the couch.

Currently just about all my laundry is done, my house has been cleaned, everything is about as ready as it can get for Jude and the bags are packed and ready to go. There's really nothing left for me to do. I'm beginning to go a little stir crazy (and just crazy in general from the family phone attacks!) so am pretty glad that I didn't have a lot of time off before I delivered, to piddle around. If it were a nicer I'd take a walk or find somewhere to drive around to, but this is more of a curl up in a ball on the couch and watch a movie kind of day.

I'm just hoping that everything goes as planned tomorrow; we get our phone call between 4 and 8 and are well on our way to having our little man in our arms this time tomorrow evening. I don't think I could take another day of waiting around, explaining "the next steps" and everything else.
