Jude pulled himself up for the first time today!
He has been "trying" to for quite some time now, but just never quite got there. It was my belief that when there was something up high enough that he wanted to get to bad enough, that he would stand... and I was correct.
Before heading out for a couple of errands, I had Jude moving around on the floor. Ryan had parked his tractor trailer truck that Jude got as a hand-me-down from my brothers up against the wall and put the car that goes in it on top.
He was able to use the lift of the truck to kind of shimmy himself up. It was oh so adorable.
the game started when he tried to "push" it off the top from his stomach... in doing so, he instead pushed it forward even further...
He then considered giving up... and I almost put the camera away...
But he gave it another go and was able to get from his knees up to his feet (which was where he's had most of his problems to this point...)
Of course, it wasn't a very sturdy position and after a few seconds hanging out on one flat foot and one tippy toe, he tumbled over and it was time for us to go.
