1. I want to run a marathon... and a 5K and would love to be able to do it before my time is up for my 101 list (that means before NEXT September). I'm pretty confident I should be able to do it... but want some help.
If any of you are trying to get in shape, stay in shape or just get out of the house, let me know!
Starting this Spring, I'm going to set a routine of some sort that will start me on my path to a marathon-body. You may be asking why I'm waiting until then... well it's for no other reason than I know I'll be more inclined to get OUT of the house and into a park if it's warm. I'm not runner-ready like I once was, so it will most likely start out as brisk walking and work it's way up to a light-jog.
So, again, let me know if you're interested. If there's someone who wants to join, I'll try to work some set days around your schedule. My only stipulation is that it will be middle of the day/middle of the week times - as that's when I'm free most regularly. If the weather begins to warm up sooner than March or April, I'd love to get an early start on it.
2. I want to plant a veggie garden... if there's anyone who's interested in having some weekly get-togethers at my house, let me know. I have two-three pretty large flower beds that I started clearing out last year and shouldn't require too much work to get going. If you help with the labor (or just come over to encourage me to actually keep up with them), we could do some sort of co-op-type-thing where you get 1/2 of the veggies.
3. I want to make a quilt... I recently bought fabric and once it's washed I will begin the piecing it together process. If there's anyone who's interested in sewing (or any other craft) and wants to start a project of their own, I'm opening my house to you. If there's someone else crafting along side me, I'll be much more likely to work on it and not have it sit in a corner and collect dust.
4. I want to volunteer... if there's anyone who's at all interested in hooking up with me to get on board for some volunteer activities, let me know. Again, weekdays work best for me, but I'm not going to be too picky with this one...
5. I'd love to go to the Please Touch Museum... this would be a great one to do before the weather breaks as I'm always looking for things to do indoors. I'd like to get a small group together, so let me know if it's something you're interested.
These are obviously all things I could do on my own, but it'd be much more fun if anyone else wanted to tag along.

I agree. I'm always more inclined to do things if I have someone else to do them with. Where is the Please Touch Museum? I have on my list that I want to take Mary to a museum, and I've heard how much fun that one is.
I've been wanting to learn how to sew, too... another thing on my list, but have NO IDEA how lol. The only thing that's stopped me from learning is how god-awful boring I'm afraid it'll be once I start. I may just take you up on that offer.
1. As you know, my friend Cheryl runs regularly and is often training for a marathon or two. She works my hours (give or take) but i'm sure you two could hook up on weekends if you were ever interested. I could give you her info...or im sure we could work something out.
2. im potentially interested, tho i will have a newborn on my hands, so don't hold me to anything.
3. im in the process of starting the quilting process myself. once i get going we should definitely
quilt together!
5. i want to take trent here!
alicia: The please touch museum is in Philly. Like RIGHT near the Phil. Zoo. I've heard nothing but great things about it. What sucks is it's about 30 bucks to get in... and you have to pay for adults and kids... which adds up. But I really want to do it.
Well, if you're interested in sewing, let me know. My sewing machine is on loan right now, but I have plenty of cutting to do first anyway.
Barbie:
1. I just might take her info once I get myself back in shape a little. I need to be able to walk briskly before I even think about marathon training.
2. Well, you're more than welcome any time while you're on maternity leave. I'm looking forward to getting together every now and then.
3. Let me know!
5. I keep talking about it and just need to DO it. I'd love for Ryan to go, but I know he would be fine with me going during the week on my own (especially since we'd have to pay for both of us to get in).
2. I'm definitely looking forward to getting togehter while im on ML. I plan to spend a lot of time outdoors!!!
5. Well if you ever plan something for a weekend let me know.
I would definitely be down for any one of them... well maybe not the jogging one. I want to do it personally, but probably couldn't keep up with you(I'm not much of a runner lol). But we spoke before about a garden, I'm currently working on 2 quilts, I've been thinking about volunteering again(and thats one of my 101), and I've always wanted to go to please touch and possibly take Xzairre.
