YIPPEE!!!! Saturday Mom, Barbie and I went to do more WEDDING STUFF!
Jennifer's was our first stop! I tried on just about every dress they had (well - every dress I liked that they had). I tried on lace ones, simple ones, fancy ones, straight ones, A-line ones, etc. I found the most perfect one! It's amazing! Exactly as I had imagined! I had gone in there loving the swirly dress from birenbaum and bullock - and came out with another Mellissa Sweet. It's fabulous. Mom has all the pictures, so I'll post them later! It's awesome! great! Fabulous! and matches the green Bridesmaid dress perfectly! It was super exciting to be able to try on dresses with mom - since she wasn't here when I got the first one.
Afterwards, we went to Brandywine Country Club which is the reception location. There weren't too many people around so we had some time to wonder around on our own. After I had booked the room last year I found out they had changed the colors of the room and done a few other changes.
It looked GREAT! I fell in love with it all over again! The colors were great and could fit well with the color scheme. The patio, the bar, the ball room, the entry way! All of it! Fabulous!
We also got to meet the new lady who's in charge of the wedding planning at the BCC. I was nervous that I wouldn't like her like I did Vikki Lynn. I was wrong though - Mary Kate was super nice and had so much enthusiasm about what she was doing - which helps with it being such an exciting day to plan! I can't wait until May draws closer and I can start finalizing some of the details!
It really was a great day! More to come!

Dress Shopping
This past weekend we went dress shopping. It was great! To start the day, we went to Jennifer's in Hockessin and tried on a few dresses. The store didn't have a HUGE selection of bridemaid's dresses. It was actually good that they didn't though because it allowed us to try on a few things and decide what types we all agreed on. We found one dress by Watters and Watters that I had seen in a magazine before that we all decided was a good fit for the day.
After we were done with Jennifer's we went up to Frank Bernard on Philadelphia Pike (we all got to see where little miss barbie works too!). The store was awesome! There were SOOOO many dresses to chose from. We pulled about half the store off the rack and started trying !
them on. Poor Meghan even picked out a maternity gown - I hope there's not something she's hiding! J/K. We still didn't come to a final decision about which one was best (can't do that until I pick out my final dress!) but we do have it narrowed down to a few. I'm sure we'll go out one more time and try a few other stores to see what they have to offer. But it really was a successful day!
