To Sell or Not to Sell.

As most of you know, Ryan and I currently live in New Castle. Ryan owns a cozy little rancher that fits us just perfectly at this point in our life. We are not really in the market to buy/sell but have an agreement between the two of us that if for some reason in passing we discover a home that is a good deal/in a good area/afforadable we would in fact think seriously about moving forward now as opposed to in a year.

Well, since a dear friend of ours has been talking about house-related things, it has gotten me to browse through various webpages and books to see what's really out there right now. Well - I found one.

Normally when this happens, I show Ryan he tells me "Alicia you're insane" and the two of us move on and don't talk about it for another couple of months. This time however, things were different.

The conversation was "Ryan i found a house I want to look at". "Then schedule a time for us to go look at it".

Next day: "Ryan I scheduled a time to go look at it". "Alright, I'll meet you there".

Later that night "Ryan I like that house". "Ok, let's talk to the right people about whether it can happen".



Now as i said, I expected a No from the beginning. Then after I didn't get that, I expected a No when i told him it was scheduled... then when we got there... still nothing after we looked at it. I'm very excited, because i was not part of the buying process for our house, so this will be my first home buying experience. However, I'm nervous at the same time because finding a house we both agree on is not hitting us at exactly the right time. With the wedding right around the corner and three fairly large vacations int he next year and a half it will take a lot of being fruggle to make things work for the next nine months.

So, tomorrow I'll make the appropriate phone calls and see where it takes me.
