Another weekend comes to an end...

So, it was another great weekend.

Happy Hour on Friday went well.

On Saturday I picked up my Nana and brought her over to see our house. We've been there for over two years and it was her first visit. She got me a house-warming gift. It was a candle. She's adorable. Also, we got our new furniture in - FINALLY. I love it. I'm slightly paranoid being that it's still new. Like I get nervous when the dogs come in with dirt on their feets and eating on it. but I guess that's normal at first (then again, maybe not - at least it has stain protection??)
Later, we had Kevin and Barbie over. We baked. Ate pizza. Had a few drinks. Laughed about the previous night. It was good time. As always.

As some of you know, we have had some visitors staying with us - as usual. Well, that's coming to an end today. My brother Bryan and his girlfriend Katy found themselves an apartment and are moving today. It's really exciting for them as they have been moving around quite a bit from our house, to her parents and back to ours over the last couple of years. It should be a big relief for them to finally settle down in a place of their own. I can't wait to go over and see it tonight (and help decorate!). My little Bry-Bry is all grown up.

As a house warming gift, we went to Ikea with them on Sunday and bought them a duvet cover for their guest bedroom - it's really cute and totally Bryan. They were looking are a couple of different ones and couldn't decide (Bryan seemed to like the fun one more while Katy seemed to like another) so it worked perfectly. They got lots of great stuff. It was exciting to be able to help.
