"Party!"

What a party weekend! As I mentioned in previous posts I had a lot going on.

Friday we started the night going to dinner with Kevin and Barbie - as always a great time. Then hit our first "party!" at Bryan's house. It's so cute to see them all situated in their new apartment.

Satuday was the DGE (Disc Golf Extravaganza) 2007. A.K.A. Meghan's 23rd Birthday "party!". It was a really great time. All of Meghan's family and some of her friends from work and of course Greggy, Ryan, Frank and I all put on our team indicators to prepare for battles - "The Banditos" wore an indicators made of high dollar red cotton in the form of a bandana. Don't mess with the Bandits.

The Bandits:

The Black Something or others - AKA "team meghan"

Mom and Dad were left to navigate the woods...

In the words of Frank "Even if it's not effective, it's still graceful.."

Los Banditos - Still going strong...

Following the DGE we made our way over to a company picnic/"party!" which was also at Lums Pond (two for the price of one!). They had a super cool obstacle course set up, a moon bounce, spin art and much more. Since we got there late things were in full swing when we pulled in. It was good seeing some of the people we don't usually get to see and catch up with them.

Saturday night was the Telescope "party!". I had incorrect information regarding when the Harvest Moon was (don't always trust the internet) so I had thought we would be able to see a Full Harvest moon - but no such luck. Barbie set up her telescope in the backyard, but none of us knew how to use it - so we never got to look up in the sky. According to Barbie we'll research it and try again later. But it's always fun just hanging out with them.

On Sunday all the fun came to an end and I had to make up for the lack of house work I've not been doing around the house lately, which also included grocery shopping. We had VERY little in our cabinets... I came out of Super Fresh with 2 carts FULL of delicious yummy goodness. What a pain it was getting it all put away (and even more of a pain cleaning the house all afternoon).

But all in all, it was a great weekend... as always.
