Realtors and all that Complicated stuff...

As a woman, it's in my nature to do things that I tell myself I will not do. For example:

"I will not eat fast food for lunch"

or

"I will not spend money on things that I really don't need"

or

"I will not wake up late for work"

or the big one:

"I will not look for houses online before the wedding".

Well, I did it anyway (went looking at houses)... and here we are with a call into an agent to get some more information.

Basically, I found over 2 acres of land, in a great location for a decent amount of money. What we'll need to do though? Move into a temporary home on the property, demolish the 'house' that's currently on there and build from the ground up. While it could be amazing 2 years down the road, it'll be a lot of time invested into making it what I would ultimatly want.

I promised myself I wouldn't blog about it for fear I'd get my hopes up - but I'm still playing it by ear and seeing what happens. Hopes are officially not 'up'. We'll see what tomorrow brings.
