Thank You

I just got a call a little bit ago from our vet advising us that Zoey's ashes were ready for us to pick up.

It's really been amazing this week to see all of our friends pull through to help us feel a little better about everything. From coming out on a rainy nasty weekend searching for Buddy to sending us flowers and cards to show us that they're thinking about us. I honestly don't think I've ever gotten so much mail from people who weren't asking for money (aka bills).

As I posted earlier this week, this is going to be a really busy month and it's been difficult balancing my emotions. I want to be so excited about everything that's happening with the wedding (dress fitting, meetings, etc) as I should be, but I also can't help but think about Zoey and how much I miss her beautiful chocolate face jumping up at me when I walk in the door.

But really, the whole purpose of this post is to thank all of our friends who have been there for us this past week. It really means a lot to us and truely does make it easier to think about all of the good things in life. Not to mention with every card comes a conversation between the two of us about the adorable things with miss about her and how much she really contributed to our little family.
