I've Been Missed

APPARENTLY, my blogging has been missed. And I have missed my blogging.

I feel like I've been getting busier and busier with each day. While at the same time I feel like I've been trying to keep myself busy with non-wedding stuff because I'm almost intimidated by the fact that it's less than three weeks away! There are a million things to do and it's hard for me to stay focused on one task at a time.

However, tonight that all changed. I FINALLY sat down and finalized the wedding music selections to get in the mail tomorrow. In addition the other day I made a packing list for the honeymoon and I started on the packing tonight. Tomorrow I hope to go to the drug store and get all of the items for the cosmetic bag (deoderants, shampoo, toothpaste, etc).

When Ryan and I went to Paris in December, we had two main pieces of luggage - and some various small carry on's. We were only there for 4 days and the bags were all filled for the trip. When I pulled my luggage out tonight I looked at my list and at my luggage and got slightly concerned. So, I decided to take a trip to the mall and see what I could come up with.

I went straight for Macy's because there was a set there that I've been wanting for a little while now. When I got there they had parts of that luggage set but not all the parts I wanted to buy. So, I search around a little more and found a set I liked even MORE! It was a dark purple set and it was sooo cute and lady like! The lady who helped me was so nice and told me that they had a "friends and family" deal starting tomorrow so she did a "pre-purchase" or something that I had never heard of. I basically gave her my card, she ran it all through the computer and it's "stored" there until midnight tonight when they'll put the transaction through WITH the extra 20% off. Very different - but either way I pick my suitcases up tomorrow to start filling them!

Also while I was at the mall, I decided to stop into MAC. I've been wondering about what to do with my make up on the wedding day and decided that I wanted to do the make up myself. I hate not having control over things and I'm afraid someone will do my make up and make me feel like a clown. So, I bought the last bits of the make up I'd need to do my face on the 17th! The same guy who did my make up before helped me tonight and showed me how to apply the new items I bought so that I look purdy.

In other news, this weekend is my bachlorette party. I have no idea what is planned. All I know is that it will pretty much take up the whole weekend and I need a nice summer dress. Hmmmm.... what can it be???? Exciting!
