My Main Man Alberto

So January first was not only a new year, but the day that our renter’s first rent was due since he moved in at the end of November/beginning of December. We were both excited to have the cost of 50 Morris off of us, but of course nervous about how the house would be maintained and whether we would get our money when we expected it.

A day or two before the first of the month Ryan called Alberto to arrange a time to pick up the rent and check-in on the house (in addition we had a couple of items we had left there that we wanted to pick up). They decided to do the transaction on Monday (yesterday) in the evening. After the phone call we were immediately pleased and relieved that he wasn’t trying to get the date pushed back (even though technically the date that worked for us both was after rent was due).

Yesterday Ryan went up after work and Alberto wasn’t there, but we was let in to grab our few items. I got a good phone call from Ryan and the house looked to be in great shape! They seemed to be keeping things neat and nothing seemed damaged or out of whack. In addition we went back later that night to get the money with out a problem.

So far so good!
