Scrapbook Party!!!!???

As indicated on my 101 list of things to do, I have a bajillion pictures that I need to start displaying. I’m pretty lazy when it comes to uploading images onto web sites and actually ordering them. I usually take so many and do it so un-frequently that it’s a huge task when I set my mind to it and I just avoid!

Quite some time ago Ryan was telling me that I needed to get a hobby. At that time I went out and bought a whole stock pile of scrapbooking supplies. I completed my 2006 album and started to get things together for my 2007 album and somehow just never finished.

Well, since Ryan’s been working lately I decided I’d get back into it. I’m now behind like 2 ½ years and can only imagine it getting worse as Jude grows up. I already have all the supplies I need, I just needed the pictures. I ordered them all last week and they should be here today!! I’m very excited! Ryan’s supposed to work on Wednesday and Thursday night, so I’ll have the whole house to myself to scrapbook away!

Now recently I had been on a cleaning streak as well – I’ve been scrubbing the house each weekend and getting our things organized. I currently have two rooms left to finish, one of which is the “little room” or “project room” or “office” at the top of the steps (it has many names) and the kitchen – which gets regular little cleanings, so isn’t as bad. It had up until the other day become nothing but a dump zone (the little room). Random pieces of mail that needed to be saved, items that didn’t have a home in the house yet, etc all got piled up in there until later. Well, after ordering my pictures I went in to get all my scrapbooking supplies together and realized how unorganized it was and really started to give it an overhaul. Right now to look at it, it looks much worse than it did before I started, but it’s well on it’s way to be a much more organized and accessible space. Ryan has a tiny side job tonight, so while he’s out and about I plan to finish working on the space.

Also while working in there I found some frames and albums we had bought while on vacations. One was from our honeymoon and one a frame from Disney. I also ordered images to go in these so that even though that particular year hasn’t been scrapbooked, I’ll still have something on display from these trips! If you can't tell, I'm really excited.

It also helps that I put the 2006 album on display in the living room and people have already been picking it up to look through.

So, anyone not doing anything on Wednesday or Thursday who might have a small project or a scrapbook they want to work on, feel free to stop by!!!

SOOO tempting! I started to do an online scrapbook of Trent, but im really not very into it - its just not the same as a real scrapbook. I wish I could afford to go out and buy all the stuff needed. it get so stinkin expensive.

Yeah, if I didn’t have all the paper, stacks of stickers, embellishments, and whatever to do it, it wouldn’t be happening right now. But I got a deal on the pictures and already had most of what I needed.

Feel free to come over and mooch off my supplies if you want!
