While scanning the radio yesterday I heard a very interesting statistic. Apparently 70% of US children are not getting enough Vitamin D. This is extremely surprising considering to get the appropriate amount of vitamin D you just need exposure to the sun! Why aren’t these kids outside playing???
You might ask “who really cares about vitamin D?”
CALCIUM cares! In order for your bones to get strong you need calcium. In order for you to get calcium you need Vitamin D.
So moms, as for you, a good diet and exercise is equally important for your children!
