Do you ever look at other people around you, and think to yourself "geeze, they've got it together!". From the lady in the library who's daughter is perfectly dressed and sitting quietly next to her while she reads to the friend who's house just always seems to be in order, to the stranger who's blog you read who just seems to have mastered life. Everyone around you seems to have it all together while you're struggling to do the chores, get through work and spend truly quality time with the kids.
I feel that way all the time. Like things just seem so much more *simple* for everyone else. Like things come so naturally to them. That to have the clean house, the well dressed baby, the over flowing bank account or even the perfect hair that always seems to fall just right just HAPPENS for some people.
But then I think... those people are probably looking back at you thinking the same thing.
A few weeks ago, Ryan and I were out to dinner. We were at a small/cheap family restaurant next door to a slightly more 'classy' establishment. Through the window I waved to a friend who was out on a date. I remember thinking to myself 'ah... date night... I remember that'. When I mentioned this to her in passing later, I was told "REALLY!? I couldn't help but think about how sweet it would be to be out for a family dinner!".
That really puts is all in perspective.

What's your story?
So, what's your story?? What's one thing you can't help but think "if I could only be so..."
