The Aftermath

I picked Zoey Jane up on Wednesday and the poor thing looked soooo sad. She came out wiht her head down and tail not wagging (if you know Zoey, you know that generally her tail is in motion and when she's really excited her whole booty starts to shake). But as soon as she looked up and saw me she was (in the words of the guy taking care of her) "the happiest he'd seen her all day".

I got her home and in the house to lay down. She was still sore and pretty tired fromt he procedure. I felt terrible for her. She would barely move. However, yesterday when i got home from work, she had done a 180. She came to the door to greet me. She ate her dinner and even tried standing up on her back legs to look out the window. Hopefully she'll heal quickly and be back to her old self in no time.
