Three day weekends are like little unexpected vacations in between the hum drum days of working.
This weekend we a very good 3 day weekend indeed.
Ryan and I had a Labor Day party at our house. We had lots of food, drinks, and people in recognition of the holiday. For the most part it was an amazing day. Lots of people came - and for like the first time I can think of they actually ate all of the food.
After the party and the clean up, Ryan and I bought a speaker system for the living room. Bryan and Ryan ran all the wires for the projector and the speakers to complete our media-frenzy living room. (too bad the projector didn't come with a bulb and we had to return it or else it would have been movie after movie for those two nights)
The sunset was beautiful that night.

I hate cleaning up more then almost anything... and this wasn't even all of it. (but at least we recycle)
In wedding news: We've now reached September - which means we're one month closer to the big day. My brother Kevin came to visit this weekend and brought our "fishbowl" center pieces with him. They are slightly different then the ones that I had picked out while shopping around AC Moore's - but they will definitly work out great.
