Decorations are Coming Together

Well, with the bridesmaids dresses picked out, it's easier to start and put colors and styles together for other details of the wedding. Mom decided that she would love to make overlays for some of the tables at the reception.

My vision is to have 1/2 the tables in Green and the other 1/2 with the regular white tops. Mostly for contrast and to look different.

Originally I assumed I would just rent the linens. I browsed around the web pages that the BCC (Brandywine Country Club) offered me as options for rentals and couldn't find anything that really fit well with my vision of what I wanted. As a result, I start looking for alternatives to the rentals. Which is where mom comes in.



She will be making the tops for the alternating tables thus allowing us to also keep the fabric that isn't stainded or damaged and use it for things after the wedding (granted I'm sure we won't need the amount of fabric needed to cover 10 - 72" round tables... but it's good to know it's there if I need it!).



It very exciting and can't wait to see the fabrics come together over the next few months...
