My Whole Body Hurts

This weekend, was probably one of the most productive in a VERY long time.

For a while it seemed as though Ryan and I were at a stand-still with completeing projects around the house. Tired of thinking about all of the things we had to get done, I decided to make a list. My to-do list was about 70+ items long and ranging from "purchase a new bed room set" to "frame batman posters".

Being aware that the list could not be completed in just one weekend, I decided to focus in on a couple of tasks.

Now on your next visit to our house, you'll be able to notice the following changes:
1. We have new/not duct taped doors in our hallway.
2. We have closet doors in our bedroom
3. You can walk in our shed
4. There is no longer a tree in the corner of our back yard.
5. The cinder blocks that the previous owner had out lined the back yard in are missing.
6. The junk that was stacked up on the side of the house has been pitched.
7. The coffee table that we inherited is now gone.
8. We now have "art" on our wall under the eye lights.
9. The misc. junk near the shed is gone.
10. Finished my "de-clutter" project in the kitchen.

And the list continues.

In addition, we purchased a number of other small items that will get us started on finishing other projects in the up and coming weeks.

All of that and we still had time to meet Jim Lee and get Ryan's posters signed.

It was a fabulous weekend and it's very rewarding to look around and see what we've accomplished together.

And on a Wedding Note:

This past weekend Mom took a trip up to Ohio for a coffe convention of some sort (for those of you who don't know my mom owns an adorable coffee shop in North Carolina). While on their journey home, she came across a Glass Warehouse. She called me super excited b/c they had a number of bowl-shaped objects available for purchase for a fraction of the price at Joann's or AC Moore. Excited by her find, she purchased all of the containers for the center pieces!!!!!

It really is All Happening.
