Gas - it's what's on everyone mind

Well, everyone knows that gas has become outrageous! I'll have to admit that up until the last week or two I haven't REALLY care THAT much about the cost of gas. I paid it because it's what people have to do and I didn't think about it much. Still being in the habit of "putting 20 dollars in the tank" I did just that. Instead of watching the number of gallons or where the dreaded red arrow pointed when i turned my car on after fueling up, I would always just look at the cost.

Well, within the last couple of week I've noticed that the red arrow doesn't go as high nor does my twenty (or thirty) dollars last as long as it once did. Around that same time Ryan started working in the slower lower area and thus his gas guzzling Ford has been eatting away at our bank accounts.

Now, here I am on a Saturday afternoon (and many other times this week) bored out of my mind and wanting to get out and do something! I could drive Buddy to the local park, pick out a coffee table at Potterybarn or grab a bite to eat somewhere down the road. But I just keep thinking "where ever I want to go it better be good to make spending that money on gas worth it."

So - how can we all "stimulate the economy" if we're stuck in our houses conserving as much gas as possible? Online shopping is always an option I guess.

I think I'm going to buy a bike. I'm sure the mall has a bike rack somewhere?? (just kidding - I'm much too lazy for that!)

141 and 95 really arent the best places for bike riders. maybe you should get a Dart pass instead. or sell a kidney for gas money
