Well, we don't make settlement until the end of September, but we are well on our way to being done with Chelsea Estates.
I feel like this past week have been working non-stop on the house getting it ready for a tenant. We've had one lady come to look at the house (and about a million people we say they want to come and never do). She already sent in her rental application and has called to see if it's approved and if she gets the house, so it's very promising. The once catch is that she's looking for a place to stay by September 15th. Which isn't a huge deal for us to find a temporary home (we're luck enough to have great friends and family, all of which have been offering us a temporary home) but means we'll need to get things done around here ASAP.
By the end of the day today (it's not officially the end b/c while I'm sitting on my butt typing, Ryan's painting) we will have almost the whole downstairs finished (we can't seem to find the touch up paint for the living room, so it may be getting a whole new coat of paint) and the spare room on the second floor about 70% done. It's amazing how I've been asking to get these projects done for about 3 years now and all the sudden they're getting completed. :)
On top of all the fancy moving things that are happening today, I got to be all photographer-like and take some maternity photos of little miss Barbie. This plus my little wedding photo session last week is making me a regular-old photographer. I haven't uploaded them all on my computer yet, but I'm eager to see them enlarged a little to see how they turned out. After the pictures K&B treated Ryan and I to lunch - so sweet (with ice cream, so you know it's good).
That also reminds me that as a thank you from Mr. and (the new) Mrs. Bowman they are taking me, Meghan, Greg and Ryan out for dinner this up coming week some time. So sweet of them. So, if you need any photos of any special event, time in your life, etc, keep in mind that I work for food b/c it's oh so yummy.
