And it's out...

It's Sunday evening and the weekend is drawing to an end. It was of course a hectic and quick weekend.

Friday, we went to the Rise Against concert which was AWESOME! There were three opening bands, so even though we got there a little late, we still had to sit around for quite awhile for the show to start. I had been to The electric Factory a number of times before, but it was a totally new experience. Obviously hanging out in the pit was not a very "smart" thing to do, so we went up to the second story that over looked the crowd and had a great view of the stage. Once Rise Against was on a very large part of me wished I could be down in the crowd b/c they went crazy. People were moshing all over the place having a blast. I really was able to take in a lot more of the show since I wasn't in the middle of the crowd though, which made it a great experience for sure.

Saturday we woke up with my parents at our house. We all went to breakfast and we were able to tell my mom and Curt. My mom-mom and pop-pop were there and everyone was super excited! The news spread quickly from there of course because my mom told my aunt Bonnie who quickly had it to the rest of the family. That at least made it less work for me which I was fine with.

That evening we had people over for a mini birthday celebration for Curt. We were expecting more people to show up, but according to my mom a few bailed b/c they had other plans. Either way it was a decent time for sure.

After breakfast on Sunday we went to tell my dad and Mary. They of course were excited as well.

I'm very happy that it's out now and that all the questions are finally over with. Now it's Sunday night and we're on the couch in time for 6 o'clock movie night. Sweet.
