I was rushing out of my drive way this morning (as I often do these days).
It was your typical morning, until through the slight frost of my windows I saw two animals moving in the front yard of my neighbor's house. Initially I thought it was two stray dogs and since my buddy/zoey experience I have had a big soft spot for missing/stray dogs. I had every intention of pulling over, scooping up these two lost souls and either getting them to their owner or taking them to the SPCA until someone claimed them.
However, at second glance I realized it was a mommy and a baby deer grazing in my neighbor's yard. It was so sweet.Yet another sign of the cool weather that's set in.
In addition, Ryan and I turned our heat on in our house for the first time last night. The other day Ryan had said he was hoping we could make it to November, but last night I heard a forcast that there was a freeze warning in effect for our area and I took that oppurtunity to convince him we needed the heat on. I wouldn't say that our house was "warm" this morning but it was a far cry from the 58 degrees it was this past week waking up.
