Baby Presents!

This weekend my mom came up to visit and of course she wanted to do baby-related things. Before going out shopping for more maternity pants we went to babys 'r us to look at the things that I had registered for. My Aunt Bonnie and Mom-mom also decided to come along and to my surprise wanted to buy me my first BIG presents!

My Mom-Mom will most likely be in Myrtle Beach for my shower (she's there from January until April! Lucky Duck) so she figured now was as good of a time as any to get me a gift - and since my Aunt Bonnie wanted to go in with her, she was fine with buying it then while I was there.

On the way in the store they told me that the two of them wanted to split buying my stroller for me (and would both get me other things on their own!!! So exciting!!) and I immediatly got excited. I went in and showed them the stroller I had picked out and the matching car seat. While showing them the car seat I mentioned to my mom that it was no longer available online and that it said in-store only and that I needed to check and see if that meant it was being discontinued so I could get it before it was too late. In saying that, my mom-mom said not to worry about it because her and my aunt would be buying it with the stroller! I got even MORE excited!

Then we started browsing around at more of the items I had on my registry and I pointed out most of the larger items and some of the fun toys I picked and much more. When in the bouncey seat section you could tell my mom was getting too eager to buy me (baby) a gift as well so she picked up my bouncey seat that matches my pack 'n play, swing, high-chair and other in-home baby gear. I found out later that this was also on the "in-store only list" so it worked out well.

So, now I have my stroller, car seat and bouncey seat sitting in my house and I want to open them and put them together and play with them soooo bad (I jokingly said I could put them together and put Buddy in them for now)! But of course the only stipulation was that my mom will wrap them all and I will open them and act surprised when I officially get them at my shower :(

It's so lame how excited I get over presents.
