Another Room down!

A little while ago we start construction on our living room (which I’m sure I blogged about). We took down shelves, paneling, hung out TV on the wall and other projects. Right around the time we started doing this we started to put together the baby’s room, so finishing the living room got put on hold temporarily.

Well, this past week, my dad came over and painted the ceiling (a much needed coat of white to cover stains and marks from previous fixtures we’d taken down), the walls and the trim. I walked into the house yesterday to the smell of fresh paint. The room looked great! I’m so happy with the colors! I picked a green for the main walls and a clay/pink color for above the fire place.

Tonight Ryan and I are going to hang some pictures in the room to give it the “finished” look.

I’m so happy that I’ll have TWO finished rooms to show off at my shower this weekend! (and another thing to cross off my “101” list)
