A blog about not blogging...

So, some of you are probably looking at your 'blogs I follow' list and wondering "I thought she died!"... Or at least abandoned my log.

I haven't. You see, as fate would have it, just when summer was coming into full swing and Jude and I were wiping the cob webs off his car seat and getting out and about regularly, taking pictures of all of our fun events and enjoying our time together, my computer broke.

Now I'm aware that I've made mention of my faulty computer once or twice, but this time, it's gone for good. No battery or charger can fix the fact that the prong that connects the computer to the power cord broke off inside. Luckily, I used the last bits of energy to hook my external harddrive up and move any un-backed up images over. However, I have been reduced to using my iPhone for any and all web surfing or online social networking. Speaking of which, this is all being typed via iPhone.

So, while I've considered treking over to the library (which I go anyway) and blogging about Jude's first (and only step), our train ride, trips to the park and much more, I'm convinced I wouldn't be doing much justice without the ooddles of images to go along with it. So, instead, I'm composing a list. A list including things like our 'staycation', milestones an much more that are taking place this spring/summer. You can bet that as soon as Ryan and I figure out our next step with technology (will we convert our PS3 to a computer? Figure out how to hook the broken laptop my mom gave us to the computer? Break down and buy a new one?) I will have an onslaught of Jude images, text and updates to throw at you.

In the meantime I'm going blog-less. I've intensly documented the first year of Jude's life, so maybe now it's time to back off for a few mnths and just enjoy the next year (or maybe I'm just saying that to make it seem like I don't feel like I'm doing some huge injustice to myself by not having near-daily updates of my sons life... The world may never know).

So for now blogging world, enjoy your summer. Get out and enjoy the weather and if you have them... Your children.
