Christmas in New York

While I'm pretty sure I'm not one who could do the whole city-livin' thing, I enjoy my random little trips to New York! Again, some of the ladies/kids Jude and I regularly get together with decided to takes to New York to see the Christmas decorations... and such.

We took the train in, which the kids pretty much seemed to enjoy.

Once in the city we went to Macy's and visited "the north pole" and santa and the elves. The kids seemed to love the penguins and other little winter wonderland animals set up in the line getting to santa. But of course they wanted nothing to do with Santa... so we all had to get in the photo with them (but hey, it turned out well!)

Next we had lunch at a pizza shop and then took the kids to toys r us! Jude LOVED the big dinosaur!

Afterwards we headed over to Rockefeller center to see the big tree. We saw the ice rink (which the zamboni was cleaning... so we didn't see anyone skating), some other large christmas decorations and then decided we needed to head back in doors
We decided to visit FAO Schwartz where the kids played on the BIG piano, scoped out the toys and just enjoyed themselves.

We ended the night with dinner at a little corner restaurant which was pretty yummy! 5 women with 5 kids proved to be pretty out of the 'norm', but they were very accomodating.
It was such a fun trip and we're already looking forwards to heading back in the up coming months.
