Back in October, our little mom group managed to find a time that worked for most of us to get the kids together for a little Halloween party. All the kids came in their costumes, played, ate pizza and just enjoyed themselves. Since typically our get togethers are out somewhere at a program of one type or another, it was a nice change of pace to be able to just sit back and enjoy everyone's company.
So, someone proposed that we also put together a little Christmas party. All the kids could come in festive gear and have another free-for-all play date. We again ordered pizza and we 'planned' to do a craft (but that never happened). Again, it was fun.
Since we decided kind of at the last minute to do it, not everyone was able to make it. However, it seemed to be a good time for those who were able to squeeze it in.
At one point Jude decided to sneak over and sit next to his new buddy Bailey. Sometimes he seems jealous of her (the attention that any 8 month old requires is too much when it's being taken from him), but other times he's so loving.
Trent and Claire won the "best festive outfits" award (really, Trents was pretty cute...)
We took a chance to get the kids together for a little group shot.
Finally, Claire decided to do a little dance for, and since the little ones never seem to get just as much attention as the big ones who are always on the move... who could resist a shot of that?
