Last night I went to my first show in who knows how long with my dear sweet Feghan and Greg. It was a really good time. I was up in the air about whether to go but I decided to go for it - and I'm very glad.
The show was at the North Star Bar in Philly. It was the perfect set up. There was a general Admission-type area in front of the stage and a balcony that covered that - which looked right down on the stage. A perfect view for just about everyone. It was a very "personal" type expereince.
His sister aka "1,2,3,4" opened for him and then was followed by "Steal Train". I think I found a new like for Steal Train... perhaps Meghan will let me burn the CD????
Either way, it was a great time - and kinda like re-living a piece of my past... in the sense that I didn't think I'd ever see myself in a room surrounded by Emo boys and girls squeeking out of shear joy of seeing their favorite singer (drummer, bass player, etc.) on stage. But alas there I was - enjoying myself for sure.
Perhaps it was the company :)
