"The Ritz"

Sunday was another ladies day.

Not only did I get a nice nights rest from my trip to New York - but I decided to sit in bed most of the morning. It was lovely. I had frequent visits from the puppies as I played around online for a bit.

Following, I went to the a quick lunch and a movie with Barbie. "Martian Child" was SUCH an adorable movie in my opinion. It really opened me back up to wanting to persue my goal of doing SOMETHING in the psychology field - hopefully with children. In addition, it increased my desire to adopt. Granted - this little boy was an extreme case (if it was even real at all?? I know it said it was based on a book - but was the book based on real life?) but still it's something I would love to do.

Later I met up with Dear Sweet Feghan for some quick coat shopping. No such luck.

Then to Philly we went. My first "Ritz" theater experience. Very different. No nachos; but there were biscotti, muffins and Hagen-Daz at the concession. Not to mention the adorable colonial-style houses that lined the streets around the theater. I loved it. I finally got to see "Lars and the Real Girl" and thought it was adorable. Really a great movie day all around. In addition, I got to meet a new person. Is it terrible that I forget his name? He was Meghan's friend and very nice. (I complimented his Popcorn cologne).

A very nice end to the weekend.
