Once I returned to work things obviously got much busier around the Kennedy household. I didn’t have nearly as much free time to lounge around and read a book. As a result, there was a change in plans about which book I read for my July (number 4 out of 6) book. I had started “Vanishing Acts” and promised myself I’d be finishing it on time, but I didn’t.
Two days ago I started to freak out a little (not really freaking out, but got disappointed that I’d have to start again) because I wasn’t any where near done. So, I switched gears a little and hit a new book that could be considered a “light” read. Jenny McCartney’s “Baby Laughs”. I had read “Belly Laughs” (both on loan from Barbie) while pregnant, so knew if it was anything like it, it’d be easy to get through and semi-funny. I was right!
I started it Tuesday night I believe, and finished it last night!
I plan to get through the rest of Vanishing Acts first and start a whole new book for August (so that I’m not cheating and only reading ¾ of a book). Ryan and I hit Border’s last night and I got “The Time Traveler’s Wife”; a collection short stories; and I still have “Keeping Faith” (also by Jodi Picoult). So I have a few options to finish my 6 month goal!

I was thinking maybe you and I could start doing a book swap kinda thing. If there's a book we both want to read (time traveler's wife) one of us buys it then loans it to the other. We'll take turns buying the books. Could be a bad idea, as I know we both go through phases where we read alot for a couple months then don't read a thing for a while - but its a money-saving idea. let a girl know. I do the used book stores/sites often.
PICTURES!!!!!!!!!! (no rush, i know you're busy with 2 babies at home...j/k)
